This week, we are releasing the Graphical MIDI Tools May 2026 update. The new GMT now works entirely through Sibelius Connect, the modern way of communicating with Sibelius, allowing for a smoother experience.
Full Staff Opening
GMT now works on the full staff. Although GMT will focus on the selected passage, the entire staff (track) contents will be available for editing.
There is no longer any need to open passages measure by measure, resulting in a much smoother MIDI editing experience.
Per-Note Velocity Editing
You can now edit the velocity of notes within a chord independently.
This allows you, for example, to visually highlight the top note of a block chord.
Simply select the note you want to edit, and GMT will work exclusively on the selected note.
Pitch Bend in NotePerformer
Pitch Bend in NotePerformer now works again within a one-tone range (one tone up or down), allowing for precise bendings.
