Lior Rosner is an award-winning composer for film, television, and the concert hall, widely recognized for his masterful command of an expansive range of genres, styles, and forms.

His television work includes Netflix’s cheeky adult animated series Q-Force, starring Sean Hayes and Wanda Sykes; Netflix’s dramedy AJ and the Queen, starring RuPaul and created with Sex and the City writer/director Michael Patrick King; and NBC’s hit revival of Will & Grace, for which Rosner received an ASCAP Award in recognition of his work.

Rosner’s film credits include collaborations on scores for the X-Men franchise and Valkyrie, which features Rosner’s choral piece They’ll Remember You, nominated for a World Soundtrack Award. Additional film and television credits include Little Fockers, The Losers, CNN’s The History of Comedy, Battle Creek, ABC’s Forever, and The Geography Club.

In the concert hall, Rosner’s Sony Classical release Sugar Plum on the Run —a fresh, imaginative sequel to The Nutcracker — features a performance by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra with narration by Jeremy Irons. The album has received widespread critical acclaim, delighted holiday audiences worldwide, and ranks in the top 1% of classical albums of the past decade.

Rosner has collaborated with major orchestras including the San Francisco Symphony, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and the BBC Symphony Orchestra. His curated concert project An American Renaissance, featuring new arrangements and original orchestrations of music by Florence Price and Billy Strayhorn, celebrates the cultural legacy of the Harlem and Chicago Renaissances and will receive its U.S. premiere this May with the Minnesota Orchestra, followed by its U.K. premiere in July with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.
